The British Educational System

The British educational system starts from Foundation Stage and proceeds to Year-1 until Year-13, the first 11 year levels are equivalent to 7 years of primary schooling and 4 years of secondary schooling in the Philippine system. At the end of year 11, students may take the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) examinations.

The last two year levels(12 &13) are taken to obtain GCE qualifications.

NOTE: Students who decide to pursue their higher education in any college or university in the Philippines need not take the Year 12 and 13 Levels. IBA is offering up to Year 11 at the moment.

As part of the overall development of the child, we are placing greater emphasis on the importance of teamwork and social responsibility. During these critical learning years, when students' intellectual and developmental horizons are rapidly expanding, The British Schools offer a comprehensive range of subjects in keeping with international standards.
