Admission

The International British Academy caters to children ages 3+ to 16. Applications are accepted through-out the year. Families wishing to send their children to IBA are requested to fill out the Application Form and pay the reservation Fee(Php 2,500) as early as possible, and no later than May of the coming school year to ensure space for your children.

Requirements

The requirements for admission are:
• Completed application form
• Previous school records with complete school address and contact information
• Copy of birth certificate(in English)
• Copy of passport with valid visa(for Foreign applicants)
• Special Study Permit-SSP(for Foreign applicants)
• Photos - 4 copies( 2"x2" )
• Child's health record
• Medical Insurance(local Philippine Agency)
• A non-refundable registration fee of P5,000.00

Assessment

The Registrar will appraise the submitted application documents before scheduling an assessment to determine placement.

To conform with the British educational system, the policy of the school is to place children in their proper age group. The academic aptitude, social readiness and English proficiency of the child will be evaluated. The result of the evaluation will be discussed with the parents within seven(7) days from the day of the assessment.

Applicants whose English proficiency has been determined to be inadequate will be required to attend the ESL Programme before acceptance into the mainstream Academic Programme.

The school reserves the right to decline admittance to any student who does not meet the admission and assessment requirements.

Withdrawal from School

A notice in writing to the Headmaster is required if the parents intend to withdraw their children. The notice must be sent to the Headmaster at least one (1) month before the end of the current term.

Late Payments

1. A penalty equivalent to 2% of the outstanding balance of a term's fee will be charged for every month of delay in payment. A fraction of a month will be considered one month of delay.

2. Students with unpaid balances will not be allowed to take the term examinations.

3. School records will not be released unless all outstanding fees, including interests, are settled in full every end of term.
